The first workshop will introduce children to a unique and innovative approach to storytelling in which the team will bring a mythical story to life in front of the children’s eyes.
The second workshop focuses on expanding vocabulary and encouraging children to verbally discuss ideas that transfer into writing, using our green screen to ignite their imaginations. This is differentiated from EYFS to Year 6.
This workshop has been frequently used as a CPD opportunity for teaching staff wanting to enhance a creative use of ICT in the classroom.
Children will have a chance to meet a range of different dragons that are all unique and have different personalities.
This workshop is an interactive session that can take place in the classroom, and it focusses on personal, social, and emotional development.
As a hook, we will bring ancient book with all its pages blank for the children to look at. We will talk to them about what they think the book is for and what it might mean. As part of the show, we shine a light on the storybook, showing the children that there is a hidden riddle in its pages
Each workshop includes cross-curricular resources through our free Curriculum Ideas Pack that will be sent to your school prior to your visit, developed with teaching practitioners to provide writing frames, lesson ideas, and other resources that link to the workshops. These have been created and developed by the incredible team at Teachers Pet.

Of course, the magical and mystical world of dragons is for children of all ages, not just KS1 and KS2 students. Knowing that a full-grown dragon (even one as friendly as Sol) can be scary for younger children, we’ve put together an entire workshop just for your Early Years Foundation Stage groups. The children get to spend time with our baby dragons in a fund and safe learning environment.
